In this work we present a Process Mining analysis performed on event logs coming from two fully automated Laboratory pre-analytical sites. Our purpose is to empirically discover the relevant workflow models and compare them with the theoretical (conceptual) workflow. The goal is to discover any unexpected behavior of the site workflow, and to refine and correct the theoretical model according to what the models themselves are evidencing, following a quantitative and objective approach.
