PASCAL_D38_CFD_ModellingAndValidation support animations

The animations represent the numerical model of a mock-up of ALFRED built at VKI in the framework of the PASCAL european project. The mock-up is partially filled with water and is subject to a displacement representative of four different important and of increasing gravity seismic events: 1-the Perugia (Italy) earthquake of 2016 2-the Romania earthquake of 1977 3-the Turkey earthquake of 2023 4-the Japan earthquake of 2011. We visualize the free-surface colored with height. Thetime-scale ratio between the real event and the mock-up simualtion is 4.29. The CFD simulations have been performed by means of STAR-CCM+.
